I love how the wood grain shows through the paint on this little ornament, giving it a warm, handmade feel. It arrived carefully packed and feels sturdy enough to hang on the tree for years.

Picked this up for our tree and the wood grain is genuinely different on each one, which you don't get with the plastic ornaments from big box stores. Knowing it was carved by hand in that little German toy village makes it feel a bit more special hanging there.

The hand-carved detailing on this is way nicer than the mass-produced ornaments I've bought before. You can actually see the little knife marks, and the wood is thick enough that it doesn't feel flimsy on the branch.
