I was skeptical about cleaning, but the pre-seasoning made my first steak slide right off with just a paper towel wipe. The square shape fits perfectly across two burners for searing multiple chicken thighs at once.

The ridges are deep enough that the juices actually drain off instead of pooling around the meat, and cleanup was easier than I expected for cast iron. I’ve used it three times for bacon and once for a steak, and the pre-seasoning held up great right out of the box.

Finally got this grill pan and the pre-seasoning is really smooth, not sticky at all. Used it for steaks last night and the raised ridges gave perfect char lines while keeping the meat off the grease. My bacon came out way crispier than my old flat skillet.
