I was a little worried about the weight, but it's actually perfectly balanced for heavy roasts. The oval shape fits a big chicken and vegetables without crowding anything. It's already developing a nice patina after just two uses.

The hand-hammered texture on this roaster is absolutely stunning, it feels like a functional piece of art in my kitchen. I used it for a whole chicken and the heat distribution was remarkably even, with no hot spots. It’s definitely become my go-to for Sunday roasts now.

After a few uses the patina is already developing beautifully, giving it that authentic heirloom feel. The hand-forged texture adds real character to something as simple as roasting.
