Our hand-crafted wooden holiday decorations are made by a cooperative of artisans in the town of Seiffen, Germany (known as “toy village”), where woodworking has been a part of the local trade for hundreds of years. These trees are carved out of a single piece of wood, continuing a centuries-old tradition of portraying winter countryside scenes that celebrate the season.

The carving detail on this tree is incredible, you can see every little notch and curve was done by hand rather than stamped out. It's about the size of a forearm, so it makes a perfect centerpiece on our dining table without taking over the whole room. You can tell a lot of care went into it.
