Bronze Soup Bowl

Bronze Soup Bowl - Main image
$284 $400 In stock

This piece is cast in solid bronze by Nancy Pearce in her studio in Los Angeles. In Pearce's words "I seek to create an archive of everyday objects by casting them in durable solid bronze so that future archaeologists will have a few pieces of the puzzle to decode from my limited time on earth starting in the 1970s. When the original objects are long gone, the bronze artifacts will remain..." This piece is an homage to a Heath classic no longer in production.

Jacob B. ★★★★★

The patina on this bowl gives it such a lived-in, timeless feel—solid bronze means it’ll outlive my kitchen remodel, and the weight sits nicely in the hand without being unwieldy. I ordered it as a decorative centerpiece, but honestly, it’s already my go-to for fruit.

Emma H. ★★★★★

It’s heavier than I expected, which honestly makes it feel more like a small sculpture than just a bowl. Knowing each piece is cast by hand in a Los Angeles studio adds a nice layer of character to my table setting.

Miles N. ★★★★★

I use this bowl every morning for my oatmeal and love how the bronze keeps it warm longer than ceramic ever did. The hand-cast quality is evident in the smooth, satisfying finish.
