Brilliantly designed, meticulously engineered, and exquisitely crafted. The Nomad Collection from Jacob May, exclusively at Heath Ceramics, is proof that great design can be both clever and classic. Every piece is available in five finishes and each has a hand-rubbed oil finish, which develops a unique patina over time.

The joinery on this table is so clean it looks like a single piece of wood, and the round top feels perfectly balanced in our small living room. It’s genuinely sturdy yet light enough to drag across the rug when we rearrange the furniture.

I’ve had this table for a few weeks now, and the way it anchors our living room without feeling bulky is exactly what I was hoping for. The craftsmanship is obvious in every detail, especially the smooth, solid feel of the base when you nudge it.

The curved edge is what sold me, and it doesn’t disappoint in person—sits flush against the sofa without a wobble, and the finish feels like it’ll age well. Took me a few minutes to find the right spot, but now it’s the first thing guests comment on.
