A subtle take on pink, this glaze emerged from our palette work for the Alabama Chanin line. Because the pink glaze is fired on our brown clay, there’s a depth and character to the tile, and a range of texture from smooth to more textured. Sold individually. Up to 6 tile samples may be ordered online. Glaze sample out of stock? Don't worry—all of our tile is made to order for every project.

The pink on these tiles isn't flat at all—the brown clay underneath gives it a warm, almost earthy feel that changes in different light. I ordered a sample to test for a backsplash and it's exactly the subtle color I was hoping for.

The glaze has this lovely depth because it’s fired on brown clay, so the pink never feels flat or too sweet. I keep finding new warm undertones in the light, and it’s already making me rethink my whole backsplash plan.

I was a bit skeptical about pink on a brown clay base, but the subtle rose shade turned out beautifully—the fired finish has a warm, organic depth that photographs well. It adds real character to our kitchen backsplash.
