The word “monumental” is often used to describe Stan Bitters’ ceramic sculptures. But even at a small scale, this legendary American artist’s expression has a rare boldness. These ceramic lanterns are made by hand in Southern California and exhibit his signature dedication to organic form and texture.

Ryan D. ★★★★★

The bronze finish gives it a weighty, grounded feel that balances the airy ceramic glow beautifully. Hung it by the patio door, and the way the light filters through at dusk is genuinely striking for a piece this size.

This little lantern sits perfectly on my porch, catching the late afternoon light and glowing with a warm bronze tone. The ceramic weight of it feels substantial, yet its small size brings just the right touch of bold character to the space.

Richard ★★★★★

The bronze glaze has this deep, uneven sheen that shifts depending on the light, which I wasn't expecting from a lantern this size. It's heavier than it looks too, so it hangs steady on our porch even when the wind picks up. Genuinely striking piece.
