Finally, a trivet that doubles as a conversation piece — the brass rivets add a nice touch, and it doesn't slide around on my wooden table. I've already used it for hot casserole dishes and it handles the heat perfectly.

The brass rivets sit flush and solid, so it stays flat on the table even with a hot pan on top. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the veg-tanned leather already shows a subtle, rich patina that makes it look better each time I use it.

The leather has softened up nicely after a couple weeks on my dining table, and that continuous strip design really catches the eye. I love how it protects my wood surface from hot dishes without sliding around.
