The rimless edge makes it feel much more modern than its 1940s origin, and the chocolate brown glaze has a lovely, subtle variation across the surface. It stacks neatly with my other plates and the aqua inside really pops against the darker outer color.

I was a bit worried the chocolate brown would be too dark, but the glaze has a rich, warm depth that looks handmade and elegant. The rimless shape makes stacking easy and feels modern on the table. Already ordering a few more for everyday use.

The aqua glaze is even prettier in person, and the rimless design makes it feel lighter than my old plates while stacking neatly. It’s been through the dishwasher daily for a month and still looks flawless, which is exactly what I needed for everyday meals.
