Wool Remnant Hand Woven Rug 19

I was really impressed by how the cotton warp gives this rug a sturdy, durable feel while still being soft underfoot. The natural wool has a lovely, earthy texture that makes it feel truly handcrafted.

The little irregularities in the weave are what sold me — you can tell a person actually made this on a loom, not a machine. It's thinner than I pictured but lays completely flat, no curling at the edges. Three weeks in and it's the first thing people comment on when they walk in.

The cotton warp gives it a nice tight weave, and you can actually see the little irregularities from the hand loom, which I love. It's in my hallway now and the colors shift depending on the light. Took a few weeks to arrive but worth the wait.
