Sofia ★★★★★

The carving detail on this tree is incredible, you can see every little notch and curve was done by hand rather than stamped out. It's about the size of a forearm, so it makes a perfect centerpiece on our dining table without taking over the whole room. You can tell a lot of care went into it.

This little tree arrived smelling faintly of fresh wood, and the hand-carved branches have such an organic, uneven feel that I keep picking it up just to look at it again. Knowing it came from the Seiffen artisans makes it feel like a real piece of holiday tradition sitting on my mantel.

The carving detail on this is genuinely impressive for the price — you can see the little branch cuts and the wood still smells faintly like fresh pine. It's a bit lighter than I expected so I anchored it with a dab of museum putty, but once it's up it looks like something from an actual German work
