I’ve been using this potholder for a few weeks now, and the leather is already starting to soften and develop a nice patina just like my favorite old jacket. The hand-stitching feels sturdy, and it gives me a solid grip when I’m pulling a heavy Dutch oven out of the oven.

The stitching is so tight and even that it feels like it will last for decades, and I love how it already has a bit of grip on hot handles. It handled a cast iron skillet straight from a 450-degree oven without any heat transferring to my hand.

The leather is already developing a nice patina after a few weeks, and the hand-stitching feels solid enough to trust with a screaming-hot skillet. It’s my go-to for pulling bread out of the dutch oven now, and the stamp on the front is a classy touch.
